Anniversary: Nirvana records "Nevermind" (5/2/91)

34 years ago today, Nirvana began recording "Nevermind" -- it was their first record on a major label -- and marked the debut of Dave Grohl on drums. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was the LP's first single and it eventually cracked the U.S. Top Ten. "Nevermind" would go on to sell more than 30 million copies. We're featuring Nirvana on these channels today.
